Initial Notes: Supergirl #1 (November 2011)

Supergirl... if there's one thing these New 52 comics are doing, it's putting everybody on the board at the same time. Let's see how it works out for them.



First observation: they're liking this "Translated from..." annotation in these comics, aren't they?



Okay, so Kara arrives in Siberia. Very confused, of course. And she's hearing bits of dialogue from other comics--I spot one from Birds of Prey #1 and one from Nightwing #1, both released this week, so I guess these events are contemporary.



So, Kara gets in a bit of a scuffle, and Superman shows up, end of story. Not enough here to go on. But, once again, I'm certainly prepared to read the next issue and see where they take it.
