Maybe you've been misinformed because dogs can eat a vegetarian diet. In fact, it is much healthier for them. Please don't spread misinformation about other animal's diets.

You’re wrong like I’m not even getting into this, its a dangerous gamble not worth taking when there’s a life at risk. When I first went vegan like a year and a half ago I made the mistake of doing the same for Ganymede and after two weeks he had diarrhea and dyspnea my vet advised me to immediately put him onto a diet containing food with animal by-products and not killing him and making him suffer sounded worth it to me. Every text I’ve read since has supported this but whatever.
