my least favorite popular feminist rhetoric thing (rookie/ xojane/ jez have all done pieces on this) is “faking orgasms is doing a disservice to other women” like faking orgasms has gotten me out of sex i wasn’t into where i didn’t feel safe/ comfortable to say “get off me” it’s very “damned if you do/ damned if you don't”
