And here we go with yet another RUPERT BEAR end-

paper by ALFRED BESTALL, the second artist to draw

the strip after creator MARY TOURTEL.  If anything, the

popularity of the little brown bruin increased under Alfred,

and with work of this superb quality, it's easy to see why.
