THE CLOAK IS - MAD...

Something I only recently noticed is that a panel from the first

appearance of The CLOAK (POW! #18, cover-dated May 13th

1967) was clearly based on the front cover illo of MAD #1 (cover-

dated October-November 1952).  Or do you think it could've been

a mere coincidence?  Only took me 49 years to spot it, so I don't

suppose I'll be getting a BLUE PETER badge for my keen

observational skills anytime soon.
