UPDATE ON PAPER THIN COMICS...

A house divided cannot stand...

 

 

Okay, here's the scoop about Paper Thin Comics.  (If you're wondering what I'm on about, see here.)  There were two guys involved in the company, one has screwed the other (and their customers) big time, and legal proceedings against the offending individual are currently being considered by the offended party, the initial stages having already been put into motion.  I got in touch with the guy who's been screwed and, after a bit of back and forth, he offered to refund me the sum owed.

At first I accepted, but on consideration I decided to let him off with it as he's in dire straits at the moment.  The fact that he offered is what counts with me, as there's a principle at stake in that I don't like people or companies trying to rip me off.  This way, I'm not being robbed, as it's my decision to forego the sum involved, not his.  I could've had it if I wanted.

I don't want to say too much at this early stage, but let's hope justice is done and that the bad guy gets his comeuppance.  Hopefully, I'll be able to let you know how it all turns out in the fullness of time.
