Immaculate Snow Flat (Tagiades gana)

Also known as the Large or Suffused Snow Flat, the immaculate snow flat is a species of skipper (Hesperiidae) which is distributed throughout Southeast Asia, including parts of India (mainly the Western Ghats) and the Malay peninsula. Adult immaculate snow flats will take nectar from various species flowering plants. Immaculate snow flat larvae are known to associate with and feed on the “Purple Yam” (Dioscorea atlata)
