i’m really interested in installation work. specifically this series i’ve been working on for almost a year now that sort of explores resonance as applied to visual art, basically playing with what lucier’s “i am sitting in a room” looks like as expressed through a visual process or whatever, it’s a concept that’s really interested me since i was exposed to the piece. but i have no idea how to even approach entering that arena, it seems so inaccessible for “art school dropout gas station employee barely even known for drawing”

i mean i’m happy just working on projects and painting and experimenting for my own satisfaction but getting to do a more “high concept” show in a sort of gallery setting someday would be so fun n validating i think
