The SWAMP THING's first appearance. Well, that's not
quite true - a Swamp Thing's first appearance. Apparently,
according to ALAN MOORE, there's been a squad of them
down through the years, but don't ask me to explain because,
for all I know, the continuity has all been changed again. As
far as readers were concerned 'though, this was the first
time they'd seen such a creature in the DC Universe.
