I was never much into MAN-THING to be honest. SWAMP
THING was the muck-encrusted monster for me, probably 'cos I
discovered him first. At one time, I considered Manny to be a mere
imitation of Swampy, but now know that neither one was a copy of
the other - apparently, it was just one of those amazing quirks of
fate that we call coincidence.
Now, with my acquisition of this great new book, I finally have
an opportunity to catch up on Manny's adventures and re-evaluate
my opinion of him. Looking forward to it, 'cos it looks like a belter.
