A Brazilian Federal Police Officer with an FAL Paratrooper. It is most likely a domestically produced version since IMBEL made FAL’s under license. With it’s shorter barrel and side-folding stock, the Paratrooper model is better suited for close quarters than it’s full size variant. However 7.62x51mm might be a bit excessive, you have increased potential of over penetration and collateral damage in a favela. The officer seems to have a look of amusement and disbelief at what he found. (GRH)
