SEND FOR KELLY was one of The TOPPER's comic strip delights, drawn by GEORGE MARTIN and first appearing in the weekly periodical in 1961. Along with his assistant CEDRIC, Kelly was a secret agent who pre-dated the JAMES BOND movies, so he was more than a mere cash-in on the '60s spy fad that Bond created.
